Alas, the day for such a rant is not today... but I'll at least gush about its God-tier shop music.
While almost all of the music in Daggerfall is magically enchanting and immersive, there's just something about going into a shop and hearing this rich piece that warms your heart and rejuvenates your soul.
Alright, let's pretend that we're going to into the local shop to sell a bunch of things we lifted from dozens of dudes we killed in a mausoleum that was impossibly huge so we can hear this music:
The warmth of the initial swell at :13 is enough to thaw even the most frigid of fiends, and that delightfully fanciful bridge at :35? It immediately transports you to an enchanted forest, glowing from the countless fairy folk who greet you.
And this is all for a shop. A shop!!
